Pasture Raised Pork

Our heritage breed Berkshire pigs are pasture raised on a combination of grass pasture and hilly woodland. We use low density practices to care for the land as well as the animals. Raising just 3 pigs per 1/4 acre.

Heritage pigs are slow growing, spending their longer lives creating well marbled, deliciously rich meat. We harvest our pigs later in the year so you get a better product.

Our natural farming practices ensure that your family, and ours, benefit from the best meat nature has to offer. Free from antibiotics, growth hormones, and other chemical ickys.

We believe that the best tasting meat comes from the happiest animals. That's why we put such an emphasis on allowing them to live life to the fullest. They spend their days rooting for beech nuts and grubs on the forest floor, napping in a piggy pile, and sun bathing.

On average our pigs will reach 250-275lbs by harvest date. Because we get a yield of about 73% you can expect that each pig will have a hanging weight of 183-200lbs. That carcass will gift us with 140-155lbs of delicious meat.

We offer several options to stock your freezer with amazing food you can feel good about. If you're looking for the best savings look no further than a whole pig.

Orders will be processed, cut, wrapped, and frozen. If you purchase a whole or half pig we will supply you with a cut sheet so you can specify which cuts you would like and how you want them wrapped. For example, we like our porkchops wrapped 4 to a package because that's a perfect amount for one dinner.

Orders placed now are pre-orders for this seasons pigs. Their harvest date is January 4th, 2022. We request a deposit of 50% to reserve your order.
